The Praying Mantis

Thinking about a praying mantis, I can actually say I think I met the human version of this interesting species. This woman, who I will leave nameless because of privacy issues, operates out of a small town located somewhere in between Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. Her game? It is to attract men to her, use them, and then ditch them. This game would completely remind me of the mating ritual of the praying mantis. The female would attract the male, begin the mating procedure, and while in the middle of it, bite his head off. So for name sake, we’ll call her the Praying Mantis.

How, do you ask, does this woman attract the men to her? It is rather simple. Online there is a virtual world called IMVU. Most remember I already did an article on the infamous 3d world. There one can make a virtual avatar and dress the avatar in any way that they want. Trust me; usually the avatars look better than what we do in real life. This virtual world is the Praying Mantis’s playground. There she can be anything and anyone that she wants to be. In actuality, she is a mother of one young child and still married to her estranged husband. She also claims that she is engaged to another man in West Virginia.

Once the men are lured into her grasp, she proceeds to make them the center of her world to gain what she wants most. Whether it is credits for the game or some other monetary thing, she will continue with the person until either he can’t give her anything anymore or he finally bores her. She has done this at least ten times to different males and once to the same male twice. So how does this delectable story end?

Well, she certainly does not literally bite the heads off the males. Though she does do something that makes them wish that she had. The accusations have gone from abuse, rape, to just plain up and leave without saying a word to them. In the end, they are left with nothing while she gets away and makes jokes about it later. To add injury to insult, she even lies to her online friends and real life family about these men to where they get harassed online.

Now, why do I write about this woman? For one simple honest truth. To warn the men of the world that such a creature exists. Will this help get her notoriety? Probably. But in the end, many men will be saved the heartache that over a dozen have already faced. So for privacy issues, I cannot give you her actual name. I can however, give the avatar name she is using currently. The name of SinfullDesirez is one that needs to be avoided, especially young males in the ages of 19 to 25.
